I've played them all up to 13. Very obvious drop off in quality after 9. Although I think 7 is the best.

Notice how up to FF9 they are made by Squaresoft.
I know part of that is in Sqare enix, but ever since the fusion.... ^^;

They managed to make ONE good game, and Tidus' laugh was foreshadowing for the downfall that was to come...
