...You do know Tenko is something of genderless being right? The gender, human-like version exists for convenience of humans. Of course, Tenko prefers female form, so it's safety assumed it would be a "she". Even if she likes to flip her gender once in a while.

Hmm... come to think of it, I haven't read the original light novels, so my take on her is completely determined by the anime and, thus, I tend to interpret her as a female kitsune, though she can take both male or female human forms.

The reason why I allude to her in these situations is b/c I found that the anime did well to keep her being a mystery, perplexing men, and eliciting awe. ...of course, I cannot hope to have the same effect; it's just that I admire how the character was never abused for cheap ecchi jokes, she was truly a goddess, and above that.

...well... for some reason my brain is going on strike, as I'm trying to explain my reasoning. I guess it's the fact that I've been up for a long time, now. Sorry to be so strange.
