Im not taking part in the secret santa, but about the steam thing, i can confirm that. A friend from Malaysia surprised me with a game this morningk, wich i couldnt activate due region lock.
Money wasted.
Think carefully before considering steam gifts guys.

Have them ask for refund and it could get some money back
I'm in the process of trying to swap it with steam or find traders and the return as a last resort

Steams Refund Policies are very convoluted and the such. I think you can only refund pre-ordered items.
All Items tat have been in your inventory before December 15th are still valid

it is to counteract the cross region trading. RU/CIS and recently the SEA region get games for around 50% the original price due t regional pricing

So with the new restrictions (30 day Game Trade lock, 7 Day TF2/CS:GO Item Lock, standardized AllowCrossRegionTrade Off and the recent 100% RU/CIS/SEA Block) they want to shut that down

Firstly let me wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I'm home from no wifi-land. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas eve!
Second I know what to wish for next year!.... I'm going to make a stream account and wish for the don't starve game OMG.. My bro got me addicted these past few days lol~ Also the multiplayer function looks so cool *___* anyone playing it?
Third I'm sad that everyone PM'ed their presents since I have been all "I WANNA SEE WHAT PEOPLE GOT!! WHAT DID PEOPLE MAKE TO EACH OTHER" well of course it is a personal thing so I'll stop saying more about this matter
and lastly to the most important part! I was Secret Santa for Melfy
Merry christmas Melfy~ To be honest I wanted to make you a Christmas card or a signature but since I have never seen you change your signature I wasn't sure if you would like it so I drew you a small chibi of Nanako from Persona4. Not sure if you can tell from the drawing but yeah! I hope you like it and really feel free to be honest and tell me if you are disappointed/don't like it since I do know I'm not very good at drawing yet(I am practicing to improve though > 3<) but I hope the message of wanting to give you something you would like got through ~
