To today's standards, some of the Random Topics back then could be classified as IB. SD is more S, requests get answered more, people cry when something isn't in the right thread, people rep more, more people hang in IB than other parts of this forum, there's more people that frequent...

I'll admit I think things have gotten a bit better around here lately. That's probably just because certain people have lost their enthusiasm for doing annoying shit (some of them even seem to have vanished entirely) and people seem to care less about those that do. While I still see a great many threads I couldn't be paid to give a shit about there seem to be more that seem to have enough thought put into them for me to at least click and see what's in them. I'm thinking the Chat & Games sub-section existing probably has a lot to do with this as that sort of gives people a kinda direction in which to spend their energy.

I still think we suffer a bit from some of the people we've lost over time.
