Galm team, we will try to provide ECCM's.
If you can't hit them, or have trouble with their missiles, get directly on their tail.
Machine guns after all, don't care about ECM's

Mobius, Yellow Squadron, engage the reinforcements.

Gryphus Squadron, you know the drill.

This is pointless, how can we determine who's gunna win? It's just postin pictures locs. Anyone here can fight me realistically? This is too childish. Where's the real stuff?

Make a realistic warfare thread? IMO, not everyone is into real-time military, or knows enough to even put up a fight.
It's not extensively stated anywhere in this thread, that you have to do that.
That said, if you prefer to fight that way, and you find someone who does too, then by all means, go at it.
Why not have a "training exercise" with Haron?
Armies do have drills like that.
Also, my air force is sexier.

Therefore, the winner is obvious~

We can't even judge who's gunna win.
Yes, I know that. OPFOR. The only problem is Haro doesn't want to do it with me. Teachin him bout other stuff will be fine, Some of the techniques and terminologies he used came from me.
Well, so much of that stuff..
Wardogs, scramble!

hey Room, have ye played AC:X and AC:X2?

So much emphasis on air battles.
Guards, intercept those pedobears. DO NOT LET THEM BREACH THE DEFENSIVE LINE!!

Unfortunately no, since I don't have the console on which they're on.
I did read up on them though.
Speaking of which, do you know any material that references/describes some of that military stuff? I mean on-line.
@Satsugai
Air cover supremacy became priority from the minute attacker airplanes were developed.

Wikipedia. But most of my knowledge came from my books.

Mmmmmm, most of my books that relate to military are WWII stuff. Particularly planes (Hawker Hurricane must one of the most unsung planes on the record...)
Other technical data stuff would include my small library of Star Wars equipment.

The Hurricane? Well, the only variant that did the most was the IID. Cause it caused troubles to axis columns back in the desert campaign. But the best WW2 fighter for me will be the P-51D (As usual) Just by mere looking at its combat record is enough to prove that it's one of the best fighters of the WW2. But in the Axis' side, the Ki 100 will be my first choice cause this fighter could reach B-29 formations in the last months of the war. It's used as an interceptor, but it arrived too late to turn the war for the Japanese, same goes with the Me 262.If the Wunderwaffe projects where just made in time, maybe The Axis Powers will win the war. Gotta blame Adolf for the cancellation of the projects that may have turned the tide of war.

Not necessarily, in WWI, fighters weren't quite as important. Important, yes, but not impactful. WWII, on the other hand, the new technology was extremely vital, tanks and airplanes were major forcers
@Sturm
I would have to disagree, they may have seemed to have a chance, but the US got prepared in an astoundingly short amount of time, considering all the factors. It was probably impossible for Hitler to win most likely from the moment he attacked USSR, as a result of the early winter, by the time the winter wore off, Hitler had lost a lot of troops and the US was beginning to get in the thick of war. Well, maybe if he hadn't put off the development of the atomic bomb, but even so, its pretty doubtful. Its true though that it is a possibility, Hitler's troops were damn good.

Forget the Eastern Front, For a concrete example, look at the StG 44. If that rifle's production went earlier, the wermacht will have an edge against Allied infantrymen who's armed with Bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles. And imagine the fear that those assault rifles caused in the Siege of Bastogne. And I was implying
on the usage of the wunderwaffe.
on the usage of the wunderwaffe.

True, but I'm considering the numbers.
Germany had already strategically lost
And while the new weapons may have helped initially, its most probable that the rapid weapons development could have been matched by the US.
Makes you realize, though, that German people really are smart as fuck
I mean, a lot of the research was on atomic bombs, but once the atomic bomb was made, a hell lot more focus could be put into weapons development

Yes, but the quality of the weapons that the wunderwaffe may have produced will have a great effect on the battles that happened. Imagine sending numerous "Amerika Bombers" to bomb NY, or even Washington DC. Numbers? It's not just about numerical superiority, it relies on the commanders and the advantages perse.
Matched? You jokin?
just look at the link. You won't find any Allied counterparts on the weapons given.

Hmm, thats true, but can they manage to get to the US? If they can't even outmatch Britain. Although that was because of Hitler's stupidity, I do admit, and they do have superior commanders, although there were good commanders on both sides. But the Allies had more forces, and better codebreakers as well, but most importantly, more supplies. I mean, the Japanese air force was pretty much down by the time the war ended, and a lot of Germany was beginning to struggle with synthetic stuff
