But the only planet where Executioners could be manufactured properly is Ryza, because of their extensive knowledge of the workings of Plasma-based technology.

And there are a few drawbacks to the Executioner's inner workings.

They fire plasma nukes.

There will be plenty of drawbacks, but man, it's fun.

Current ideas and superstitions around the Executioner are mainly centred on their tendency to explode. This is due to the temperamental weapon, the Plasma Destroyer, and its extremely high energy output. The crew are protected by both emergency coolant vents and heat shielding, which is enough to save them during a catastrophic containment field failure and give them time to escape. Many also include an emergency coolant flask at the rear of the vehicle with twin coolant lines running over the top of the vehicle to the weapon, but these are subject to battle damage and are less than reliable. - cited from Lexicanum

I don't doubt the destructive capability of the Executioner, but it'd be more efficient fielding a Stormblade than a Executioner.

After all, weapon needs to be reliable too...then again, it's always hand to have toys like that for "unexpected" events.

That's why the Plasma Blastgun on the Stormblade is more reliable than the Plasma Destroyer on Executioners.

Can't have Executioners exploding across the battlefield due to it's rarity.

What ever happened to the old ways, sending in hordes of Zakus and GMs to their doom.

Nowadays it's a select few chosen to pilot the "god" machines.

I'm tired of using Cannon Fodders vato, It's like pushing a couple of grunt Mobile Suits into your scrap shops.

I see your point, but it was nice to watch the grunts have their skirmishes.

I think the Leman Russ Vanquisher variant is appropriate for this situation.



The Vanquisher Cannon is a more complex variant of the Battle Cannon, almost twice as long as the standard Battle Cannon, it uses specialised armour piercing shells to take down enemy tanks from afar.

In this this case, instead of tanks, its your Celestial Being mobile suits.

Gundams? How can you hit without Radar Guidance then? Well, anyway. nice tank dude. Cadians.....if it's about Imperial Guards, my favourite regiment will be the Tallarn Desert Raiders or the Death Korps of Krieg .

The only things that need Radar Guidance are missiles.

We do things the old fashioned way.

But it's still cool. Just like WW2. And by the way, what's a Vitae Womb?

I respect the Death Korps of Krieg for never backing down, though I don't know enough about the Tallarn Desert Raiders...

Gonna need more than Vanquishers to bring down those suits though...

The Destroyer Tank Hunter should suffice.
