I don't know why I just thought abut this, but I was at the gym today with a few of the boys, were doing a little weight lifting, boxing ec. So while were boxing were talking. When one of my friends said that his girlfriend is pregnant and he's all torn up because he has no idea what to do saying he's not ready to be a dad.
I'm beating on the bag a bit and stop and listen, I don;t know what came over me, but the following is true.
Me: I know just how to solv this problem.
Friend: How
Me: Imagine this punching bag is your girl friend.
Friend: Okay
Me: *Shouting at top of lungs* FALCON PUNCH! *Slams a upper cut into area of bag that would be about the height of his girlfriends Womb* There's your answer to your problem.
We all started cracking up because I kept a straight face through out the whole joke.

Most males are bestowed with some latent nurturing instincts (some more than others) and I believe that he will be a great dad, too! Parenting is kinda sort like trial and error and he'll eventually be very competent at it. Get him and his girl to read on child development to help them prepare for the arrival of their little one. And, with you as his buddy he's in good hands. You sound very much like a sensible guy one can turn to. And when you do become that educator that'll be effin awesome. You'll know all about child psychology and their idiosyncrasies :wink:

It's not that I well versed in child Psychology, and there idiosyncrasies, it's mostly from dealing with my second cousins(I'm the youngest of he grand kid n my moms side of the family), and my child like nature(at times). As for a sensible guy, I'm normally level headed and dependable.

Well, unless that one single punch was inhumanely strong and accurately delivered, YES! I personally knew someone who miscarried after being hit with a helmet but then again the circumstance were different- marital violence/abuse.
