That's why I think that you should always watch the anime first, the reaction will then be the opposite when playing the VN.

He'll probably get his part, but to me he's more of an extra anyway, never thought much about him. Lancer is kinda epic though, agreed.

Well, the anime totally fails in showing Assassin's fighting style...he's the total opposite of saber in swordsmanship, and the anime failed to show that.

Btw, is Excalibur even a proper sword? I can't help but think of it as some kinda photon cannon in the shape of a sword...

True, but hey, Excalibur is supposed to be able to take on an army by itself, it must have some über kamehamehaa attack or it would take to much time =D
