I AM EXTREMELY PISSED OFF!!!!!

Background Story:
I was going to take part in the "Draw Momoka contest" by drawing and creating hentai flash as a bonus. 4 Hours into working on it and out of nowhere my power went out.......
Long story short.... I forgot to save and lost 3 hours work.......

To tell ya the truth I punched a wall and almost cried.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm pretty damn paranoid about my saving, but every now and then I'll go a binge and then allasudden shit happens, and at least half of my work will be fucking gone.

I try to make a habit of saving every 15 minutes or so. I also have saves on my computer, my external hard drive, and USB keys. I'd do discs, too- but the damn disc tray don't open proper.

I also keep up to date on meterological forecasts. Never work if storm's a comin'. If ever I see the lights flicker, I don't even bother trying to save, because who knows what kinda eternal fuckup'll happen to your work if the power cuts as you're saving.

Naw, but for real, that crap makes me rage.

I hate when i lose work like that, my computer does the same thing with tabs sometimes.

Hate it when that happens. When I am working on something, I always wondered whatever would happen and I lost everything. I usually save my work when I cant continue working anymore or near the end. Gotta fix that habit.

My computer has a recovery point every 2 minutes for open documents.

I was gonna say that people have invented a magic box called UPS but you beat me to it. I have a 1200VA myself.



Don't you have a window somewhere near your pc so that you can see what kind of weather there's outside? My PC is right beside the window and I can see if a thunderstorm is going to happen as soon as the smallest lightning appears :3

Nowdays I turn my PC off as soon as a thunderstorm starts and I don't even have an expensive PC(it's 5 years old) :P
