It's that simple. I went with 7, awesome hardcore kung-fu fighting techno muzak

Well, I chose 6 biecause it seems the most fitting for a boss fight.

I recognise 2, Clash on the Big Bridge.

The others sound cool but I really like 4. It has the feel of an epic final showdown

I'd say 5, feels like an old school console final boss theme.

Also think 7 is the one to kick ass with.

7 fits really well so that was my choice.
But I also liked 1

1, Guilty Gear ROCKS, Midnight Carnaval

Venveng, put that kind of stuff in your signature.

On topic:
#1: Guilty Gear, so of course it's fast-paced. A nice fit for a boss battle.

#2: It's pretty good.

#3 and #5: Ha! Cave Story! I know #3 is for Hell, but I can't remember where the other one is from.

#4: Way too gentle for a good final boss music.

#6: It was just too calming, more like a lesser boss fight than a final one.

#7: It was good at first, but then it eased up.

#8: GAH! Maybe if it didn't have those lyrics in it, they just are not oppressive enough for a boss fight.

As final boss music, I think #1 is the most fitting, but for a Boss Rush mode, I think #3 fits the best.

I was thinking 8 but that's more for like if I was just going in and mowing down a thousand easy/medium/hard baddies to get to the final boss. So 8 is more like foreplay and whereas 1 is sex.

hmm 1 or 3. almost considered 4 but thats a little to slow. maybe if it started out as 4 and faded into 3.
