well,the stories were parted in Spring(Current in Anime),Summer,Autumn(currently reading in manga),Winter and Spring again(probably).
so you'll see his brother in Summer part.although the Highlight of the Spring story will be when Hachiken found an oven for making Pizza.....and man it got loose.lol.

i'm actually looking forward to it but i guess some details in the manga won't get portrayed in the anime.
remember when i showed the 56 hectares = 1 Macross size? hachi didn't even mentioned the Sapporo Dome at that time.

i guess it's fine watching the anime alone but if you like the small details that Hokkaido Cow put in in his works,it's better if you read the manga too.

I feel like rewatching Gintama because of all of these references. But knowing you have watched the movie of Gintama kinda discourages me.
I had no chance to take a glimpse of your review from then, not saying that I would read it thoroughly due to my preference either, but is that movie really meant to be the last?

Now we're smoking. Even though I'm sad that the anime has to end this early, I still feel grateful that Gintama is yet to end as a whole. To be honest, despite of me wanting most of long-lived/dragging on shonen to end as soon as possible, my heart is still not ready to see Gintama closing the book.

I suppose it's just time to put the pedal to the medal for Gintama mango that I abandoned back then. Shinpachi with manly chest hair should be sufficient enough as the starting line.

well,during the movie's ED,it played Spyair's theme song for the movie then it followed with Pray while showing us the recollections of the past episodes.
guess we can agree that even though it's not as huge as other Jump series,it dares to put an end in the anime series and quite ballsy with it too.even though it has some fillers too,the fillers itself didn't fail at all like the other Jump series.

Stories in Gintama are mostly absurd at best. Fillers that are executed properly stick well to the absurdness like bread and butter. I suppose Gintama is the only anime that can make use of fillers properly, unlike some other shonen *ahem or anime series in general.

i'm actually not much of a fan to Tommy Heavenly so the first time i heard the OP for the 1st season of Gintama,i wasn't that hyped yet.
but i guess the song has grown on me as the song that introduced me to one of my best favorite series in my life i guess.that's why by the time they switched the song to Pray at the end credit,i can't help to get teary eyed and sad like everyone else as well.

at least Gintama doesn't have an SD show series just for reminding the fans that the series can be really funny.

i do have some holes already.....that's because i have to in some situations like almost got a Heatsroke from being the star of the movie outside where the sun still blazing relentlessly for a whole day.

well,given it's held in Saturday,Sunday and Monday this time,i guess they switched it for the sake of the Big Fishes so not lots of em' will miss it.

well....since the movie came out early this month,i'll say give it till end of the year.it'll probably popped out within 6 months since the premiere and translated by Horriblesubs or something.
