for any of you who remembers,back in January of this year i went to Toho Cinema in Yokohama to watch .Hack//at the side of the world(roughly translated) and was amazed by the 3D effect.
at June 28th,all of you who loves the .Hack Franchise will able to watch the movie in DVD/BD because it's gonna released at that day.but in my case,i'll buy the Hybrid Pack of the Movie that comes along with the Game and Limited Edition Pack.
delicious limited stuffs.lol.
in the Movie Side,if you watch this movie in dark and do have a 3D TV/Monitor,you'll be amazed just like i did when i was watching it in theater at the "entering" sequence.the story might be pretty boring/normal at the first half.the middle where it's getting interesting and the climax was pretty great even if it would picks up a new story from the last bit of the story.
in the Game Side,it's pretty much an average Fighting Game with all the Main/Memorable Characters from the previous .Hack series including from the Movie.
i don't know if it's just me but yes,you can also play as Sakuya.

seems like while doing the Story Mode,people can watch our play and comment on our match.but that's probably just at the Replay part.
and there's an OVA Titled "Thanatos Report" in the Game part which tells the Event that took place Between The Movie and The Game Timeline.so that's what the small bit "cliffhanger" was all about?
and yes,i too curious about that guy in the hood at the end of the trailers.
FOG's Comment: i'm definitely gonna get this in Hybrid Pack form even though many people says that the Hybrid games are shitty but as one of .Hack//Series fan,i'll say i'll get it even though it might not as epic as the previous series.besides,this is gonna be the 1st game on PS3 format so there's a chance they'll continue/finish the Saga in PS3 after the Hybrid.and the movie's so great i eagerly wanted to watch it again.
so yeah,if you love .Hack//Series,definitely need to watch/DL the Movie ASAP.
i can't wait to get my hands on it next Thursday.

the chance of it getting localized are probably just the Movie.
but if the Game does have some important aspects to foreshadowing the next Story,maybe it will get localized.
then again .Hack//Link didn't get Localized so it'll be tough luck.

i do gonna go back next year but maybe just in March-April for Spring Break and attending the Wedding of one of my best friend.
and going back in June using Japanese Schedule,no dice they'll give me a vacation.

remember when i said i own the Limited Edition .Hack//Link game?
it got "Epitaph of the Old Testament" which told the previous .Hack//Series before Link and "epitaph of the New testament" for Link and the 4th Season .Hack//Series.
the 4th Season should be started by the Movie just like .Hack//Sign starts for .Hack//Game Series and .Hack//Roots starts for .Hack//GU Series.given the Movie ended with a small bit of "cliffhanger" and from the trailers alone for the Hybrid pack,there's an OVA that happened before VERSUS and supposedly after that,BANDAI and CyberConnect will make the Conclusion Game to Finish the Franchise after VERSUS.
so yeah,they've planned it already.
and yes,you'll see Adult Aura in the movie just like i told you before.

well,they already did Valkyria Chronicles Main Story,Side Story and Sequel so yeah,they've pretty much ran out of ideas already.
i know that Card Battle game is still such a SERIOUS BUSINESS in here but really?
those kind of games needs to use cards for battle is pretty ridiculous to me too.
i'll probably gonna take a look at it for a bit at TGS but if it's still as what we see,then i'll forget about it.

just stumbled upon the demo of the .Hack//VERSUS.
Kite Gameplay

for the PS3 graphic,it's seems pretty solid.
and i know it's still a demo but yeah,the battle might not as fast paced like Street Fighter IV and a bit like open area Tekken.
to initiate the skill,it's pretty easy because you can just press the L1 button then press the following buttons to execute the skills.but in order to do it,you need to fill the charges by either getting hit or keep hitting your opponents.
the counter action's pretty cool and kite's data drain,dayum.
wonder what Haseo and Azure Flame Kite's Data Drain will looks like.lol.
Haseo Gameplay
he's able to change into Xth Form by one lvl charge sjill.cool.
and he has 2 finishing moves depending on his current form.
Movie's Main Chara,Sora Gameplay
by lvling up,she able to increase her damages and speed.
mostly using assists but damn that air time combo.
if she's the only one that able to do it,there'll be lots of Sora players.lol.
