Wrong country, mate.
Remembrance Day was created to honour the dead of World War I. Celebrated November 11th to mark the end of hostilities "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month".
With the Union Jack, the Commonwealth countries are included, and- while it never was formally part of the alliance- The U.S. did join in for the last year, after Germany tried to get Mexico to go to war with the States.
Not exactly sure when- but people seem to have shifted the focus of Remembrance Day on WWII, and- while not wrong- all warriors should be honoured- we should never forget its original purpose.
Lest we forget.

Spoiler:
10/10 on all accounts

Isn't it Veterans' Day on November 11th in the States as well?
Also, that comic...

I fucking died.
Yes. I was simply pointing out that it's not an America exclusive. If we were to assign the day to any country, it'd be fairly split between Britain and France. Or simply have the Triple Entente and throw Russia in there, too.
