Even so, you still have to apply a certain amount of force to cut it clean off. You don't just casually cut off an entire limb, especially one as large as your leg.

It's all in the angle of the striking motion. That and speed combined with a fair amount of force.

Seen one cut thru a whole dead pig. Shit the nips test them on convicts and dead people in sacks of 4. A good sword can go thru 3. Documentry of the samurai and that spike show deadliest warriors.

I know that it's sharp and can cut through a lot of things.
The point I'm trying to make is that even if something is sharp, if you swing it incorrectly and/or do not put much force into it, it's not going to cut very well.
Generally cutting through bone requires a significant amount of strength.
