Ahh i glad you asked that, a TMs is short for technical machine, used in the game Pokemon. It's a device that can teach a move to a pokemon, but can only be used once, unlike HM's. It also will only will work if that move is compatible with that pokemon.

There's also a second but less common used acronym of the word, known as TehMikuruSlave. Not all people like TheMikuruSlave, but all respect his will to expose lies and fight the powa.
