No. Even better, we'll be able to upload our conciousness onto computers, thereby effectively living forever. And it will be in our generation.

Why would I want to be downloaded into a computer?
Anyway, I can't recall where I read it, but if the our curent technological pace keeps up, especially medically, it's projected that within a few decades, those born have a chance to live in upwards of 140 years.
Even us alive now probably have a chance to break 110 if we take decent care of ourselves.

WALL-E was very unrealistic, because unless something fundamental changes in people, people will still *want* to look good. It is true that people overall have a much higher average weight in our society than they might have say, 100 years ago, and that trend might continue a bit, but there will always be people who keep themselves looking good. Maybe their genetics help them keep a good image, or maybe they were athletic when they were younger and kept it up, but the bottom line is that so long as there is something to contrast overweight people to in a negative way, it will always be undesirable by society, and will always be a source of motivation for people who are overweight to lose that weight.
On the flip side, it is also unreasonable to assume that technology could progress so far and yet not provide a solution for obesity.
