This... pain!!! Just what kind of magic is written in this scroll? I can't let this be. I have to get to a safe place fast and let this curse out of me.

I land behind the huge rock. A door is opened and I enter the underground cave. The door closes itself after I checked that I'm not tailed by anyone.

"Frreie."

A scroll is materialized on the table; a copy of that one. What I did was merely dividing some of its mana to create a copy of the knowledge within... the owners shouldn't be able to notice it, I hope. That said, it does ruin the original slightly.

After I've rested, I break the seal and open the scroll. I don't know what's there for me... but I'll try to endure it. Either I walk out victorious or I die without anyone knowing. Both ways work for me.

The scroll shines brightly and suddenly the figure of a girl comes out of it. "The fool that managed to divide this realm apart... thy name?" she asks with a grim look.

"Aize," I answer solemnly. "I seek the knowledge within thy scroll."

"Pfft-" she starts laughing. What's so funny? It's only natural to desire power, isn't it? "You really are a strange fool. There isn't any trace of light or shadow in you. Tell, from where did you learn your magic?"

"Books from Ostia Library. I believe I have enough knowledge to pass school at the very least," I say honestly. It took me three months to learn all those things, but it's important to at least being able to hold any guy in the bar on my own. Burning Sky and Thousand Thunderbolts are especially hard to learn, damn it.

"Ahaha...! You're self trained I see... interesting. Perhaps Darkness would be good for someone like you."

"Darkness? What kind of spell is that?" I ask, her smirk is sending me bad omens.

She grabs my head. What strength! She's so small too... "Experience it for yourself."

I try to move her hand away but I can't. "Hey wait! What is this about?"

"Should you fail this... embrace death."

Suddenly the world blacks out on me.

DL'ed usagi drop some time ago. Should watch it when more time actually comes my way.
