Joan of Arc. It took to have her burned alive to stop, and all it did for English was to make her a martyr and a Saint. Henry V is rolling in his grave.
Also, at best I'm only 1/5 French. The other is 1/5 Russian, 1/5 German and 2/5 Polish.

Nobody said that a woman can't be a man.
....
I'm being serious. I'm pretty sure at least one woman was crowned as King. Because to law, Gender is non-object. At least, it used to be.
Also, most English kings were French. Unless they weren't, in which case they were German. That explains an awful lot.

And then Sam and Room would exchange vague historical arguments,
"A slaughterhouse, eight corpses all told"
And a Bell that tolls for thee.

Whoa whoa whoa, what do you mean most english kings were french?
women crowned as kings? didnt happen, queens ruling, however, like the current one, did, but a woman wasn't a king but a queen
Admittedly, era of Normandy, Angevin, and Lancaster were of french descent (House of Plantegenet), but Offa of Mercia and the Wessex were all from Britain, Denmark is self explanatory, the Tudors were of Welsh origin and the Stuarts were Scottish.

Stealth history trolling.
The whole female king is from Continental Europe.
Also, no, they were not directly French after some point, but were still of French descent...Tudors themselves were a clusterfuck of relations, since they were Yorks and Lancasters combined. And then Windsors came and combo-broke everything.
Also, fun fact: Until 100 Years War, majority of English nobility spoke French. They stopped it because...well, they had a hard time convincing anyone that they weren't French.
Because I can. Also, tiramisu ice cream.

Like I said, it was only the Angevins, York/Lancaster, and Normandy
The original Offa of Mercia, and the great house of wessex were all english descent
The brief Danish rule,
then after Hastings in 1066, William Duke Of Normandy and the House of Plantagenet ruled, and were of French origin
But the Tudors only descended from Gaunt from the female side, and while Henry VII may have married Elizabeth of York, it's still considered of Welsh origin because of the male side.
Then, James of Scotland was descended once again through the female side, but He is still considered Scottish, along with the Stuart reign. Its after that, starting from the House of Hanover and the SaxeCoburgGotha and finally Windsor(Who are really just Saxe-Coburg Gotha) who are all technically of German descent
As for the the french thing, most didnt speak english because it was considered below them, it was a "peasant" language, supposedly not a refined language, hence the importance of Geoffrey Chaucer, etc, who was the pioneer in writing great works in English
As for the King thing
Actually, it probably originated from Hatshepsut, and there were kings like the Nzinga of the Mbundu, but as far as I know, I've never heard of a female European "King"

Feeling numb, slowly waking up, the young woman slowly tilts her head left and right. She still feels dizzy and confused. Wondering how she ended up here, she has yet to realize the morbid fate awaiting for her at the end of the road. After a few moments, she finally fully wakes up and notices the morbid tools laying around the dark room filled with putrid odor of blood and rotten guts. She noticed that she was gagged and tied up. Not knowing where she is, combined with the darkness, madness and fear gripped onto her feeble mind as fast as a hungry lion that fasted for days, finally finding it's prey.
Tears starts rolling down her cheeks, the sight of those morbid killer tools, ranging from a nail remover tool to the classical iron maiden. Her thoughts couldn't contain naught else but the excruciating fear from being a victim to those horrendous items. She tried to struggle, but to no avail, she was tightly tied to the bed. The ropes used to tie her were so thick that her wrists and legs were dyed red from her struggle. The more she struggled, the deeper the ropes would dig into her flesh.
Footsteps were heard, slowly getting louder, slowly approaching where she laid. Taken over by fear, she cried even more. Metal sounds, like someone playing with scissors, were heard, that made her even more restless. What will happen to her? Will she get killed? Will she get tortured? She asked herself all those questions, until she finally gave up and even before the ordeal started, she already begged for her life.
The darkness was too thick, she couldn't see who was coming. The unknown source of her fear drew closer and closer, the suspense was killing her, she couldn't take it no more, she closed her eyes. A low-pitched voice of a man was then heard.
"Open your eyes"
That morbid, cruel voice of the man scared her even more, she started groaning and was determined to not open her eyes.
"I said, open your eyes!"
The man's voice got louder, the man waited for her to open her eyes, but she was anchored her fear.
"OPEN YOUR EYES!!"
The man, irritated by her disobedience, slammed the scissors that he had onto her right hand, nailing it onto her deathbed. Blood came gushing out of her hands. She cried even more, her painful groans were louder, she tried to struggle to forget the intense pain she felt. The man was pleased as she finally opened her watery eyes.
"Now now... You must assist to every, painful, punishment that I will give you... Don't go and close your eyes to your fate now."
The calm yet, creepy tone of that the man used scared her even more, she groaned even more and struggled even more. The ropes dug into her flesh even more, her wrists and legs started bleeding a bit...
