I like Borderlands 2. Fun game.

The first one was only good for one playthrough, after that it got boring.

Man, I don't like the fact that a lot of games that I'd really like to play put so much emphasis on online play/can only be played online. Not everyone has a connection that can handle it.

Well, Borderlands isn't like that. I'm playing through a lot of the single player campaign solo at the moment, but yeah there does seem to be more multiplayer these days. I wouldn't say single player is dying out though, thanks to indie games becoming even better these days.

But where are all the good local co-op games these days? What happened to "bring your controller" -meet ups? I am sad.

Uh... online and retail bargain bins, where old games always are? :3
