Hair dye

:o I got hair dye, but I'm not doing it until after work tomorrow - er, later today .-. it are late.
So I'm excited but totally scared at the same time to do it. I have blondish brownish hair now, and mom explained that we have red undertone so it'll really come out if I try to go red head at all.
This is the color I chose:

Here are some pics of me I've posted in the past of me just to get an idea of the transformation. Hopefully it won't take off into another color.
So... wish me luck? I haven't ever dyed my hair this extreme before. The most I did was add highlights once.

Judging from your natural hair color, you shouldn't have any problems. My hair is Jet-black and very oily. It is so naturally dark people have even accused me of dying it black! Because of this, whenever I dye it blonde I have to do it three times, at forty minutes a piece. I haven't dyed it in years, because the constant exposure eats at my scalp [I have bled from my head before]. Anyway, good luck.

Okay, so it's done now :)
Like my mom said, the red tones really came out. So it's a different color then the girl on the box.
The camera makes it look a lot brighter, it's not that 'bright' the first picture is more accurate.

Looking at the two images with your newly dyed hair, I think it looks best in the first picture (where it's not so bright). But yeah, It came out pretty nice. I like it.
Overall though (Not looking ONLY at the new images), I think your hair looks best in the image below:
But either way it's nice.
Random Question: Do you like your hair best the way it is now (after being dyed) or how it was then (before it was dyed)?[/h]

That image you copied is a pic after I came out of the shower and it was wet. So it looks darker then usual.
I go through time periods where I just want change. Last time I went through it I started wearing my hair down (I used to make sure it was tied back, because I dunno why.) I wore wired frame glasses for 8 years and then went to the ones on my face now, and I changed my style of clothing from tomboy to more of a style that would flatter me.
I was just tired of my hair color, and I'm happy with it. Though I don't like the bottom pic because it doesn't look at all what it looks like irl.

Ohhhh, alright. Well that explains things. Sometimes change can be nice; especially if you feel satisfied and content with the change. Anywho, thanks for the answer. :) [/h]
