I only tolerate NTR like I tolerate my regular Hentai.
The only thing I hate is to be bored and to have the same shit happening over and over again. I also need a good artstyle to go with, of course.
At this point NTR tend to get in the "repetitive" category, at least for me. So I tend to avoid it because I know I'll be bored.
However, when it's played well I can enjoy the read.
The thing I dislike the most is having a beta guy looking at his girlfriend getting stuffed. This is something I've seen so much I consider it overdone.
Even if the whole hentai is good you only need to put this scene to ruin it for me.
Ok, this is fictive stuff and thus logic shouldn't count. But any normal person would have any reaction BUT that.
Even if the artstyle was not so great, I loved reading "Hole Family" because of it's fun story.
One NTR hentai by Jin was also fairly enjoyable, though that was pretty fucked up for me. At least we didn't get a cliché ending.
Only moment where I hate NTR is in parodies, I highly prefer not to have characters I like being put in NTR parodies. Especially if it is poorly made.
Final opinion: Like any other Hentai, only if played well and imaginative. And this doesn't mean you have to put tentacledicks, I'm talking about story.

At first, like most of you, I can fap to NTR. But then as I grow more mature, reading it breaks my heart. I made me uncomfortable for weeks that it made me a bit depressed when I remember it. I think of scenarios of which how will this may or may not happen in real life especially to me even if it's not real. Being betrayed is one of the most painful emotions that will hit in our lifetime (being it love, work or friends) and will hurt you more ways than one.
As time passes by, the NTR stories became repetitive. Blackmail, training and then mind break lastly were the norm in this story. Even the first chapter vanilla suddenly becoming NTR also became boring because some mangakas use this style also. The only ones that made me surprised when some mangaka suddenly make NTR stories(or vice-versa).
I read h-manga like a romance manga first then a fapping material second. It's faster than a regular manga of which the relationship goes on for a lot of chapters then we only get a holding hand at the end. At least these get to the point in a few pages.
They say that vanilla stories are boring and repetitive. Nowadays, both of them are the same. At least in vanilla, you feel good afterwards and have a positive outlook in real life unlike in NTR that you feel rage and hate that will destroy your day even if it is only fiction. Fictional works also portray emotions just like in real life. I just want to feel good and have hope in this complicated real life.

But I believe that it won't be NTR without those things. The NTR that I like if the dumbass MC treats their lover as if they're the NTR people pushing them into things that they don't like. They deserved it. The ones I dislike are the ones whose protagonists are very devoted, will do everything, and sure of their feelings towards their lover and then NTR'd. But hey, that's what the artist wants and we can't do anything about it. We can only make what-have-beens in our minds.

1. the art isn't up to snuff
2. the story is actually something very realistic
however i still generally avoid ntr just cause it's not my cup of tea. unless it's a really good artist.

most NTR artist rely on the niche to survive. But if you look at them closely some are not much different than other gang-rape mind break doujin. The only author that have good art plus the ability to convey the girl feeling is Jin-MTSP.

It's not that I can't read NTR, it's just doesn't turn me on. Vanilla doesn't really turn me on, but when it comes on both genre, I'm usually more focused on the story than fapping.

I've actually always thought NTR was pretty stimulating, but in the cases of how the man steals another man's woman, that's something I can sympathize with - my best friend's wife and I cheated together, and my girlfriend left me when she found out, and my best friend stopped talking to me, but I still think it was worth it. His wife is of course, no longer seeing him - they are planning to divorce.

Haven't dropped after that first NTR. The feeling I had back then was like "huh.. it's called NTR. Hmmkay, any more of these?" and just accepted it. I mean, it's not like I'd let some douchebag get away with irl, it's something I treat as fiction and that's it. The rest of the evaluation is mostly how's it drawn and told.

Maybe I'm just an insensitive bastard, but NTR has always been one of my top three genres out there (other two being incest and vanilla, contradictory I know). Never bothered me to the point where I just lose the will to fap. Granted I do rage occasionally at some of them, like I Will Protect You series by Nagare Ippon, but I always end up fapping to said doujin anyway.
