Yes, most civilizations interacted with each other through trade, food production, copying technology, writing system, and so on. For example New Guinea's relationship with a part of Australia(eastern/southern I think) and Indonesia. Or China's( the greatest example)influence with their steel or metal tools, which allowed the production of guns, their writing system adopted by most countries like Japan, and their spread North vs South or East vs West.
Edit: I forgot to add with interaction with other civilization there are intermarriages such as New Guinea's intermarriage with some Aborigines, Indonesians, Philippians, or New Zealand.
