Unpleasant from the receiving end yes, especially if the receiver has a curious mind. Though if you look at it from the producers standpoint, one can certainly argue that it might just be all part of the plan. A way to build up hype which would either be totally worth it in the end or all for shit. Most of the time it never goes well but still... the feeling of crushing someone's expectations may just be the very thing they are after. Now for what I meant by the 'standing out', I see it as people stepping up quality and creating something entertaining [more so than it is now due to the already high standards in the fore-mentioned situation] even to the point where there is original content being created instead of the 'easy outs' and one-liners
C'mon fix it [quote chain]. fix it or grenouille will say something obvious again.

Standard clueless male protag the ladies love but is bad with them. Turns harem very quick and very little if any plot progression per chapter.

OT: I have no idea how to answer the topic question. Just post your picture already.
Nope to the nth degree
I am not going down that road again. oh dear fuck no.
I know, you mention it for the fifth time already. It's like you secretly want it to happen.
Oh no, you figured out the enigma.
yeeeeaaaaah. Actually I brought this up cause i've been curious you know, like what the hell you are. Just hint me
Spoiler:
I'm in the middle of dickdrassil and morgan freeman [why people mention him is beyond me really]
Its not comfortable [I'm a shit judge of myself] though people seem to like it.
Dickdrassil Morgan Freeman. That's far out awesome man. Thank you for staying up with my inquirings (unlike that goddamn camper).
I feel that if people take the time to ask me stuff that I should take the time to answer them.
Though it all really depends on the question. Regardless, I make sure to answer.
Same here. If only everyone had this motto, ib would surely prosper. And forget the camper guy, I'll address his snivy ass no longer.
If everyone had the same motto, we would all be trying even more so to stand out from the usual. But then again... I'd actually would like to see the outcome of that.
Speaking of IB, the vibe here is a bit odd lately as in ib has political discussions about the board in its current state. I mean political as an atmosphere. Even when its in joking it is kinda entertaining.
I get you. The actuality it spurs and mutuality it offers, entertaining indeed.
Yet I'm not certain about the standing out more often you refer to. What I meant was lessening the frequency of unresponded but directed at oneself posts. While one can reply anything one feels like, choosing abstention (also known as camping) will only regress mutual understanding, which, regretfully, results in commoning of cheap one-liners (such as "It's a conspiracy") and post and run tactics. Unpleasant isn't it, sir Morgan Freeman of Dickdrassil.

lol. anyway
Nah, building up hype is a narrow way of describing discussions aimed to indulge as much population as possible. The dream of every troll.
Fuck high-standarts. Are we both building hype or talking as we feel like? For me it's the later. I'm against one-liners because the reason they appear is not having enough confidence to say what's on the mind, not because of a pseudo high-standart appearing from a massive conglomeration of oldfags at one instance.
edit: also if you feel like our convo is taking too much of your time or something - say it. At least I would prefer it more to a goddamn conspiracy quote.

That is exactly what the trolls want, it is what they are by definition. Hype train right into the wall of disappointment and rage.
They could care less about their lack of confidence as long as the hype outgrows them and the reaction is just as massive its just a gold star in their journals.
Us? Building Hype? Well that is a tough question. I mean we are clearly doing both at the same time since obviously our views of one another has changed a bit. And no doubt that whoever else is reading this would probably examine and judge this exchange as totally out of character in both of our regular posting patterns [to their knowledge, however limited, anyway].
People who hate us are probably getting mindfucked now.
EDIT: nah convo is fine

...maybe my image of a troll was influenced by the awesome side of examples of the local history and yours - by the not so awesome. And to add more, your second observation of our irregular posting patterns was quite unexpected. I concede man.
Though I don't think anyone cares enough to hate us. Including those two. You should probably respond to their silly attempts to get your attention or they'll think of us as hypocrites.

I will agree, I have yet to see a epic scale troll. Maybe if a hit a nat 20 it'll happen.
Jokes aside, there is always someone that buttfrustrated about our position [this applies to anyone really] that they become obsessed with us. They have to make our lives shitty just to make themselves feel better about their own bad situation.
I do agree with the last part. Gotta keep up appearances and stuff.

I'm told I'm cutesy, friendly, and easily approachable :D.
I tend to think of myself as fairly friendly, nice, and sometimes quiet, but most of the time I'm loud, and blunt, but honest and caring.. I'm also fucking awesome :D
