How to survive life without the net?

this is what usually causes my paranoia...



just a few days ago, flood entered our house due to a severe storm hitting our country. Due to that, I wasn't allowed to use my PC coz of the water in my house...

NO INTERNET

There was a blackout that lasted over 24 hours.

NO INTERNET

...And my internet provider went down for over 2 and a half days because of the DAMN storm!



STILL NO INTERNET!!!

My horror lasted for about 3-4 days... I survived by playing my new game, "Brave Soul", That I DLed before my horror began...

How would YOU survive without the internet?

i don't have internets for about 2 months. i barely survives, a lot of manga and anime, and books.

I'd start playing this game, I hear it's pretty good.

i sleep. then use my mobile as a modem

I started to play my Visual Novels.

Wow! looks awesome! (Brain running slow) Oh crap, it involves going outside...

which means it's not "without the net", per se.

If there's no net, I would usually play my Nintendo DS until I fall asleep..

Thanks. BTW, hot saber avatar... and My only RL is going outside to go to malls... to go to the arcade and waste hundreds of pesos on tokens to play "TEKKEN 6 BR" (note that less than 50 pesos is 1 dollar)

otherwise, I'd waste 15 pesos an hour to go to PC rental shops and play DotA with friends... RL? not for a 1 year stop in academics due to financial troubles by my family in the past... for me, it's just me and my (Low quality) PC...

on a different note? what would you do if there is no electricity? how can you survive? (that includes DS, PSP, Laptops)

Case you didn't see, THERE WAS A FLOOD!!! Whenever I get out of bed, there's a half-yard deep flood, if I go outside, it'll cover half my 5'10 height... meaning just near my waist.
