Actually, boiling meat in cok is a common thing to do. Its called coke boiling, and makes meats extremely soft.

I'm glad I saw that coming, I turned my speakers all the way up because I couldn't hear what they were talking about. I might have gotten scared if I didn't turn them down in time.
