I feel cheated

During AFW (Anime Fest Wichita) I was chating to this profesional duelist and we were having a chat over past decks we used to own and the ones we currently have. I told him that I'm not much of a duelist any more and that I was selling my cards now. I then told him about my last sale. I sold this holographich Blue eyes white dragon that had a picture of a tablet in the background and when he asked me how much I sold it for I said "five dollars." the guy then said "That card is worth about $200. $500 if you didin't take it out of the wrapping it came in."
.... If this guy was telling the truth that means I lost $200. So now I have to trak down the guy I sold it to. Get it back and try to sell it of Ebay. I feel so stupid. T^T

Anyway, I doubt whoever sold it to you is going to give it back, especially if you tell them why.
Should've taken it to Pawn Stars ; )

Just to let you know this guy is being sponcered by a company and they will pay for his plane tickets and hotel room and his food just to go to different countries to play Yu-gi-oh.

I'll just say it has some sentemental value to me.

It's like the time i sold a 'Buster Blader'. I was planning to sell at 20 tops, and one of those so-called pro's told me I could sell it tops 120. I listened. set it up for bids. Highest i got was 230tops. First Edition PSV original.

I have all my cards and 3 blue eyes white dragons. But they've been touched. They look fresh and new cause I havn't played with them.Even after I got a blue eyes shining dragon from the yu-gi-oh movie theater personnel.

Perhaps the same can be said about rich people auctioning for Java men's Pots and ancient tinctures. You call them antiques I call them Junk same goes for those trade cards.

on the spot selling, especially if the price seems low is never a good idea for these type of things.
You're usually being screwed.

Zach I dont understand how you can even trust someone online. I mean come on. My prediction to what could happened just happened to you. My friend buys shit off e-bay and somehow he always prevails (he's a nerd =_=) But I mean you did this all on your own. Not even on a profitable website. Now that. I seriously beyond my understanding. Unless you truly truly really freaking hell trusted this guy to like watch your dog or something I dont see how I'd ever make a deal with someone straight out like you did for this card that is apparently worth some serious doh.

And by that you mean us folks that discredit Yu-Gi-Oh, of course.
