They say if they do that, I won't have to wear glasses again.
Wish me luck.

You're in a country known for lasik surgery, what could possibly go wrong. Or was it turkey...It's not Lasik or PRK.
It's ICL.
And Germany is actually at a higher standard for these things than the United States.

nice read. and why did you go with this lense instead of the old fashioned laser blaster? it says you still have to wear glasses to read and "there are no long-term, large-scale studies involving its use in patients" what ever that supposed to mean.

Because they can't even correct half of my vision with my eyes.
It is incorrect that I will have to use glasses to read.
The lenses are built to be my prescription.
Maybe when I get much older the vision will need to be changed, but not for decades.

Fuck that shit.
He had to use lasers to poke holes in my eyes so I don't get pressure build up.
Shit was annoying and gave me a nasty headache for like, a day.

Edit:
Well, one of my friends from back in high school is also blind currently, apparently she needs to go to Japan for a special surgery not being practiced in the US...

Second eye went a lot smoother than the first.
It's amazing being able to see clearly like this.

Why this instead of laser? (Inb4 I missed it explained alreadyCause I was so farsighted that they couldn't even account for half of it.
Not including the astigmatism which was also really bad.
