Gameplay styles and mechanics between Third and first person games are different, I will say that.
But fundamentally speaking, I still think they aren't very much different. Zooming on the camra in a racing game doesn't make it a completely different game.
You don't know shit about video games, which is apparent by your love of gamegrumps and and Penny-arcades "Extra Credit".
Public service announcement:
Game Grumps is fucking awful; it's uninformative, uninteresting, and unfunny. Anyone who likes them has no tastes at all. The only thing worse than Game Grumps is Extra Credits, which manges to be as pretentious as it is annoying, and as annoying as it is factually unsound. Thank you for reading.

Okay. Let me just stop liking them. *beep boop beep bop boop* I now do not like Gromp gips and Extra Credits.
Really? I'm not allowed to like things? I understand you may not like them, but still...

You can like them, but you should be made amare that they're some of the worst examples of their respective genres/fan-bases out there. What I'm saying is that they're really, really, bad. This is not a opinion. It's an objective fact, particularly in the case of Extra Credits which plays host to some of the worst opinions/ideas in the video game industry. It's also run by a homogenous tool who's voice sounds like a chipmunk on helium.
So, like them all you want. Just know that they're shit.

I love how you claim your opinion is a fact. A blanket keeps you warm, that's a fact. Water if required for life, that's a fact. Personally thinking that 2 shows on the internet are terrible isn't really a fact.
Some people like other things then others. Red Steel 2 is one of my favorite games of all times, and that got "it's average" across the board.
Grumps has it's flaws, and their off days, I will admit that. But that doesn't instantly make them the worst show in the fucking internet.
The voice actor for Extra Credits (Danial Floid) does use that effect which some consider annoying, yes. But again, that doesn't instantly make it the worst show in the internet.
Like whatever you like, dislike whatever you like. But don't claim your opinion is a fact.

AND WORSE, THEY PRETEND TO BE BE INDUSTRY "INSIDERS," WHEN THEY'RE JUST THREE FAGGOTS AND A WHORE MAKING SHITTY FLASH VIDEOS ON FUCKING PENNY ARCADE.
Extra Credits is everything wrong with the industry and video game journalism. And my opinion IS fact, or hadn't you heard?

Caps Lock is located on the left side of your keyboard, it's under Tab and above L-shift. You forgot to turn it off.
And if James Portnow (former game designer and college professor at Savannah College of Art and Design), Daniel Floyd (aspiring video game animator and former animator for Pixar of Canada), and Elisa Scaldaferri (Artist and animator for Retro Studios) are all just faggots.
You must have one HELL of a backround!

Just because someone has such credentials doesn't mean that they're the authority on video games. I've yet to see Extra Credit, but if you submit misinformation frequently without relent or signs that you'll improve as an 'insider', that does make you a factually bad 'insider'. Sorry man, but he's got a point.

Wait Extra Credits aren't journalist, so I don't give them too much slack.
They're pretty horrible place to get information or look for talking points/meaningful discussion, and although their credentials aren't bad, that doesn't mean what they is factually true or even worth listening to.
At their best they only state the obvious but most of the time they have no idea what they're talking about.

It's been a while since the last time I've read an argument about a totally not important subject. Thank you for wasting your energy in order to amuse me. Well, maybe y'all have no intention to amuse me in the first place, but still, I was amused. Once again, thank you.

My background means nothing, we're not talking about me, we're talking about them. And their background is hardly impressive. If I could use one word to describe it would be "mediocre." As in, it's decent, nothing out-standing, a passing grade, average. It does now wow, it does not make you step back, it's the bare minimum required. Now, maybe if one of them had gone to a really good school, or had worked successfully at a really nice company, OR MAYBE PRODUCED A FUCKING GAME, than you would have something to work with. But as things stand you have just about nothing. Anyway, their are credentialsbesides the point. Their show is bad, their writing is bad, their opinions and ideas are again, bad.
And again, if those creds are suppose to wow me or brow-beat me into standing down you've got another thing coming. Going to a good school or working at a good job does not mean you'll be a good journalist, or even that you'll have good ideas. They mean jack. What you produce is what tells us how good you are, and what Extra Credits produces is pure shit.

The OP and Antw0n literally told me to keep this off of his thread. If you want to continue this chat, we'll have to go on Skype or over PMs.

This is IB folk. It's far from unusual to have a topic sidetracked. Continue what you're doing.
