Please, inform the infidel, as I seem to have extrapolated the wrong information somewhere in the many times I read your holy book in multiple versions to be sure I was correct in my thinking.

I'll make my challenge simpler, provide empirical evidence that a God is a necessary element to reality and shouldn't be discarded by Ockham's Razor before any real speculation can begin.

If and eventually when, a theist can provide a meaningful answer I will gladly debate them. I will leave this out here though to all followers of Jesus, and that is that at its very core the idea of vicarious redemption is immoral to put matters mildly. It is beyond scapegoating, it is darker and far more sinister than one thinks, at least before they think critically. If I kvetch you I can pay off your debts, if I love you a great deal I can even offer to serve your time in jail, but your sins and responsibilities I cannot and should not absolve you. It would be immoral of myself to offer and more so if you were to accept. How is the vicarious redemption through this Jesus fellow any better?
