Went to a small truckstop restaurant and had a full English breakfast (eggs, sausage, beans, etc). Fittingly, they call it "The Construction Worker's Breakfast".

I had to look up red velvet pancakes, it sounded that awesome.Agreed.
I am disappointed however, I thought they actually were red, not just because of food coloring.
It's a workday and so I have no time to eat any fancy breakfasts.Sandwiches and melon today.
without the coloring, it'll just be a chocolate pancake slathered with cream cheese frosting. still good...(or even better, you won't have to worry about allergies from red dye #40)

I made my own breakfast.
And it wasn't a stupid sandwitch or cereal. Actual cooked food.
Felt good man.

Yeah but the fact that they call it red velvet is pretty awesome. So it doesn't taste any different?

Oh yes, they still sound delicious and I'll have to try it sometime, might make some for brunch on sunday.
I wonder what I can use to make them red without any dye. Cranberries and/or raspberries maybe. Something that goes with chocolate.
