Episode One - A New Hope:

It was raining. The rain was warm, almost pleasantly so, as if to shower the world with kindness. Not that it's raining everywhere - but - regardless, my own world froze, and when I saw her, the rain stopped.

The sunset gleamed gorgeously in distance, accentuating her beauty. The tears in her eyes spoke of her pain, as if she was betrayed by someone important, and yet, my arrival had somehow given her a second chance.



I decided to take her home. She hummed a cheerful tune, similar to childhood lullabies, but not the same. As we entered, I noticed that she was soaked to the bone.

I provided her with a change of clothes, and after changing she sat down on a cushion in my living room, and gave me an innocent, inquisitive smile.



Her eyes suddenly opened wide and her expression changed to one of terror. The last thing I heard as my world went dark was a scream and her pleading for it to stop, whatever that was.

I awoke to a smell not unfamiliar - but not familiar either. I couldn't move - ropes tightly bound my wrists, ankles, and knees together. there was a tissue stuffed in my mouth, and a towel tied around my face.

The scene I witnessed then shall never escape my mind. It was a gruesome scene, yet one I've seen before.



So no matter who I find, they're going to be taken from me. That is the sad reality.

I couldn't bear the pain of seeing this through, even after seeing all the pain that she had suffered, so I bashed my head against the wall until I once more fell unconscious.
