Depends if reincarnation removed consciousness so the experience would be remembered and learned from. Being a person again(humans are animals) is probably a favored choice, but the experiences of a wild animal, likely a predator is the next choice. A smart one capable of group interaction preferred. Naturally aesthetics would be a factor, lion, wolf and of course coyote topping list. Being a plant doesn't seem to have as much to offer in the way of experience due to lack of senses, but I can see the draw to a long lived, peaceful tree.
