Read the comic first, but this was fantastic, as evidenced by the fact that I have seen it before it even came out in theatres, and am bragging about it.

I actually saw it a couple of days ago too. It was a special screening of the movie. It was pretty good, to say the least.

The main actor has no ability to portray any character other than himself and for someone that is suppose to be a comedian, he sucks are comedy.

Holy fuck, have none of you read the comic? Granted, since the first volume, they've wanted it to be a movie. But it's so good, go read it. Before you peasants can finally watch it.

I've loved the look of it from the trailers, but granted, I haven't read the comics. Problem is most people who have read comics and then see movie adaptations rage at the result, but to use another recent example, I really liked Kickass having not read the graphic novels of that either. Is it really going to improve the experience that much?

Original medium > movies, 100% of the time.
Having gotten the fanboy shit out of the way, the movie is still very well done, imo. I'm going to watch it again when it comes out this Friday. I especially love the music, their band is awesome >_> (going all fangirl mode <3)
