*drinks tea because out of coffee--Kei. Well there was huge influx at danbooru since two months ago, so it's about time. I even playing the game now, hahah
As do I. Despite being a military nut, naval warfare wasn't ever my strongpoint. Figured the best way to learn was to have them as cute anime girls.
Well I rarely watch military anime like Strike Witches or Girls and Panzer. But it's kinda interesting to know some history about battleships, in cute girl forms hahaha.
--Shane. Well, just instant tea, no way I can afford expensive tea
Strike Witches is a very fan-serviced anime, almost every three seconds is a panty shot during the battles. For many, that is why they watch it but for me it's mainly for the various different military hardware involved.
Not a lot of things that involve anthropomorphic weapon systems like KanColle, which is a shame.

Well I can see that. The character design literally showing panty shot every single minute.
How about the anime about rifles? Have you watched it?
Sometimes it's kinda funny to see girls in Kancolle wearing such a huge looking armaments.
--Shane. Ugh... I stay with my tropical climate then

Goes all the way back to the Cold War, not even then. Even all the way back to when Russia was still an imperialistic autocracy was when it was portrayed so antagonistically. I think it is in peoples nature to see the intimidating in a negative light T^T

At last the Russians doesn't seem care enough about that. Being portrayed as villain in videogames.

Well, America is almost always subject to being the bad guy in most animes they are involved in so it wouldn't be surprising that the nations irl wouldn't care how they're portrayed in fiction.

That moment when your country rarely get "screentime" at fiction video games world.
I only remember about Front Mission 3 where they go to Indo >_>
The character is also kinda weirdo one.

Meh, I don't really care about that kind of stuff. I play games because I want to get out of reality for a bit so if the scenario is situated far from where I actually am, that makes it all the better.

I've got a general gist of how people see my country. All wrapped up in a screenshot of a AskYahoo question(if I can find it)

Or maybe from Hetalia, lol.
Does Australia got screentime at that anime?

I know my country has an established character but I've been out of the loop with that series so I don't know if he's appeared yet.
Also I couldn't find any screenshots of it so I'll just say it. A lot of people on Yahoo Answers like to ask if Australians ride on kangaroos like cars. What I love most about these is that all the answers we give them are basically baiting them.

My sides. hahaha.
To be honest, would you feel slightly badass? I mean riding kangaroos as cars. hahaha

I'd feel more badass riding a bear(which a Russian has actually done and posted somewhere). Kangaroos honestly are dumb(at night they get hit by traffic quite a lot) and deadly, I've seen one(in a video only) kick a person into a pond, pretty hilarious because it even positions itself for the kick beforehand.
