Strike Witches is a very fan-serviced anime, almost every three seconds is a panty shot during the battles. For many, that is why they watch it but for me it's mainly for the various different military hardware involved.

Not a lot of things that involve anthropomorphic weapon systems like KanColle, which is a shame.

Goes all the way back to the Cold War, not even then. Even all the way back to when Russia was still an imperialistic autocracy was when it was portrayed so antagonistically. I think it is in peoples nature to see the intimidating in a negative light T^T

Well, America is almost always subject to being the bad guy in most animes they are involved in so it wouldn't be surprising that the nations irl wouldn't care how they're portrayed in fiction.

I know my country has an established character but I've been out of the loop with that series so I don't know if he's appeared yet.

Also I couldn't find any screenshots of it so I'll just say it. A lot of people on Yahoo Answers like to ask if Australians ride on kangaroos like cars. What I love most about these is that all the answers we give them are basically baiting them.

To be honest, would you feel slightly badass? I mean riding kangaroos as cars. hahaha

I'd feel more badass riding a bear(which a Russian has actually done and posted somewhere). Kangaroos honestly are dumb(at night they get hit by traffic quite a lot) and deadly, I've seen one(in a video only) kick a person into a pond, pretty hilarious because it even positions itself for the kick beforehand.
