I quite like these Verniy Russian lessons. Though I already know them, it's just nice that it's out there. Bilingual ftw!

On that note, I'm more confident in my Russian than my Japanese(even though I'd be using Jap a lot more due to relatives)

Then my life would be complete. Figuratively speaking of course. I think German is my weakest of second languages so that might be fun to read(though reading isn't as challenging as Russian Cyrillic)

Yeah, the language is similar to my native Laotian but I'm not bothered to learn it. Or at least any further than I need to. Script is a bunch of squiggly lines, was trying to follow it in a karaoke and couldn't make out what syllables were meant to be what.

But now that you mention that, German isn't my weakest. . . Thai would be.

Yeah, the curvy lines makes me more confused. I think Russian letter is rather straight than Thai.

Yeah, Thai letters look too similar to each other. Though Russian does have similar looking letters(difference of them mainly is an accent above one), they also have similar sounds.

Cyrillic is easy once you've understood some words. Hardest script I think is Arabic. Long squiggles and dots.

Although, probably because almost all Western Slavic languages use modified Latin script. Only the Balkans and everything east of Poland uses Cyrillic.

Ifrit and Djinn are from arabic mythology. Spells arabic and summoning these monster sounds awesome.

@Room, yes I've noticed that Croatia and Czech use modified latin, probably some other Eastern Bloc countries as well but those two I've actually read some.
