Hmm...
Well.. Of course there will death reports even from something with low-death probability..
Let me get you..... This
Ignore the first half of the article's babbling..
Here's the short review if you're to lazy to get more info
However, to use Canada as a test case, up to a few days ago there had been six cases of this flu. The data suggests the probably of dying from H1N1 if you get it is less than one percent, so if you do the math and shuffle Canada's 33 million people and give six of them swine flu, the probably of a specific "you" dying from it would be about 0.0000000018.
EDIT : Ignore that.. that article is a garbage I guess..
I guess I'll take it from wiki..
CNN stated on April 28, 2009 that there were at least 800 deaths in the U.S. due to normal influenza in each individual week between January 1 and April 18, which is higher than the combined worldwide death toll for the swine flu.

from what I understand the issue that made swine flu a bigger issue than most of the recent medical melodramas is that there are reports of healthy adult deaths as opposed to other viruses which saw only elderly/sick/child deaths. So something that can kill a healthy adult would be far more dangerous for any of the 3 aforementioned weakened states of a human being. I'm simply repeating what my doctor told me when he wanted me to get the shot, so I may be misinformed but either way it's still something to be aware of.
