You forget how much effort goes into making a game model from scratch until you watch an hour-long timelapse.

We did one in my 3d modeling class took an entire semester, to build, rig, and do some basic animations

I'm actually pretty happy with my 2D capabilities. I made some stuff some years ago, but then my hard drive crashed and I lost everything. Some projects that I'm still pretty sore about.

Haven't made much since because it's around the same time life decided to show up and say "Hey. Everything costs money. Get a job, asshole".
