Edit: Nevermind. I read the wiki page for Ichigo and it says he's part Quincy. I thought they ended the anime after Kugo died.

Anime, yes. But the manga is going to continue with the final arc.

The Bounts Arc is one the least favorable in the series. It's mostly better after that, except the Zanpakuto Arc. That one's just... *shudders*

That was a filler season... and it was terrible...
Honestly, I skipped the second half of the arrancar arc (really shouldn't have) to watch the final battle with aizen... I ended it after that, because that was pretty awesome, and seemed like a fitting end.

Yeah. I don't know, I just never really caught on with the whole ability to bring out zanpakutos and have them be free of their shinigami.
