I'm off to Alaska, and Canada

The mosquitoes aren't THAT big.

But we do have a species of Longhorn beetle about four inches long and one heckuva nasty set of pincers. You'll know when one is headed your way when you hear something akin to a small jet plane. Don't let it land on you, because it does not waste it's time before ripping a chunk outta you.

Depending on which areas you visit, the bugs are a veritable Biblical Plague (Manitoba, Northern Ontario, and Mid-Quebec are particularly bad- lots of forest and lake regions- but that's also where some of the best fishing is done).

Further north you're on your own, for I've never ventured that far meself.

I've been to Calgary. S'nice there.

Went to the Banff National Park and saw the Rockies. Drank from the river. Was crystal clear.

I beg to differ. BC has everything, huge cities, big ass mountains to climb, Ski
hills, Deserts, all four seasons. Alaska is too far north and is cold as fuck most of
the year.

Dammit I want to go to Canada too.
