Importing Hentai

So I bought some stuff in Akiba with some hentai among that list. Is here any going to be much trouble with bringing it into the States?

How much did you buy? I brought some hentai to Japan in my carry-on bag and that didn't raise any flags so I guess if you just put it in your carry-on there shouldn't be any problems.

I would love for someone with legal experience to speak about this topic--customs in person, customs through mail/shipping, to me it's all completely nerve-wracking, and I have no idea what my rights are. Loli? If not then unless you have a shit ton you can carry it on or in your checked bags. Your not violating import laws nor importation of ban items if your going back to the states. Loli then I would pack it tight between mags or on the bottom. Hope and pray us custom don't find them... even though there only a skim chance of arrest unless your in a weird state.

PS: i wouldn't risk any manga/hentai that contain anything that even closely resemble loli, so that's fairies or monster girls, or anything that doesn't have gianormous boobs, and age of at least 35. Basicly you can bring milfs and that's it ;D

Should I declare it or not?

I definitely would--surely would be smarter than not declaring and having them discovered, making you look like you're trying to smuggle them. Doesn't have to be super-specific, just under "books," not "that one with Kobato x Kodaka on the toilet."
