What are their goals again btw? Finding a new civilizations?
Initially they're just trying to survive, but they find a young girl who is immune to infection, and it turns into traveling across the wilderness to try and get her checked out and find out why, to see if there's salvation for the human race. Lotta other things along the way obviously but that's the base of it all.
