I don't know how to measure with that.... How far are you in the story already?

well its sequence 3 still, you only need to check your overall % status to see how far youre in (i think).
Or maybe this works, whats the last thing you needed to do in the game (mission wise)?

I'm in sequence 4 but it's only 21%....

@Pirate Queen: Well youre further in the story than i am then, i probably got quite a few % bonus due revealing almost the whole map and conquer all enemy forts before i did stories.
Also got every whale/shark catched by now *\(^o^)/*

Oh... I only destroyed and took over one fort because it was in the way of my sailing...
I've done that shark hunt once, but it's rare, I rarely found the place to do so! I think it was a hammerhead shark last time

As soon you have the forts conquered (maybe try the easy ones first) you reveal eveyrthing on the secotr after conquering the fort, so you see all the whale/shark locations on the map afterwards :)
