"It is difficult to associate these horrors with the proud civilizations that created them: Sparta, Rome, The Knights of Europe, the Samurai... They worshipped strength, because it is strength that makes all other values possible. Nothing survives without it. Who knows what delicate wonders have died out of the world, for want of the strength to survive." ~Han, Enter the Dragon
Deeply philosophical, despite coming from a character so twisted. Why is it always the villains that seem to express the most profound ideas?

"Might is right" isn't very deep.
As for the villains thing, despite a lot of them written with ham fisted philosophy in mind, they're sometimes more relatable and often trying to fight the "status quo".

Well, I wouldn't call Han "relateable" (he literally butchered one of the protags and stuck him in a vat) but the point of that quote goes deeper than "might is right" I think.
I think the point one could take from it is that you need strength in some form to have your ideals survive, so we should not forget about strength, throwing it away in times of crisis.
Though I might be reading too deeply into this :^)

Komm in mein Boot ein Sturm kommt auf und es wird Nacht. Wo willst du hin so ganz allein treibst du davon. Wer hält deine Hand wenn es dich nach unten zieht. Wo willst du hin so uferlos die kalte See.
(Come in my boat a storm is rising and it is becoming night. Where do you want to go so completely alone you are drifting away. Who holds your hand when it pulls you under. Where do you want to go so boundless the cold sea.)-Till Lindemann
