Do I really have to do huge giant responses? What if I'm just not inspired? What if I feel one sentence suffices as a good insult mockery response? If I find the terms suitable I will sign up for the agree team (do not expect my response to be in a timely manner though). If I don't actually agree with the subject I will just make an entirely sarcastic post...or steal my own team's flag switch sides.

Topic first. If I get stuck with a side I'm not in agreement with, I won't be inspired to argue for it.

Hmm... I think the topic should not be shown first. I mean, a true debater must be able to debate whatever side he or she is stuck in. If a topic is shown then people might crowd over the side which is easier to defend.

When exactly is the debating gonna start? We've already got one fine topic on our hands: "Must we, the potential participants, first learn of the particular topic for debate before actually choosing a side or not?"

And as for which side I'm going with, "neutral" it is.

Agreed to this. If a debater will only debate for the side he is comfortable then he's not really much of a debater. Debating is all about turning the tides of a conversation by proving and validating points while at the same time nullifying their opponent's strong points. I suggest that those who are interested should enter their names now while Superior can surprise them later with a weird topic. And then the players randomly choose a side which they would not know if that side is "agrees" or "disagrees" with the topic then they would have to defend it whether they like it or not.
