Is Pornography actually safe for you? (My final FAKKU! post)
-7
Alright, it's time for me to come clean and be truthful about something regarding this site: For several months now, I've refrained from constant viewing of erodoujins because I've recently learned about the negative effects long-term pornography consumption has on its viewers. A lot of people may oppose the statement, but there is existing scientific research which points out that pornography - be live-action or its erodoujin counterparts - is closely associated with warped perspectives towards sex and relationships [1] as well as interpersonal conflict between persons in a committed relationship [2].
Think about it for a bit. Certainly, we've all seen in one way or another just how pornography affects us. From what I encountered through research looking into the kind of effects it brings, one of them is drastic behavioral changes that can affect one's interpersonal relationship in the long run. It has become a tool for viewers to rely on in order to bring out a male mate's aggressive nature and control over his female partner, thus the high possibilty of sexual violence occurs [3]. Another thing pornography has shown in general is that most scenes contain a large number - one study estimates it to be eighty-seven percent of all pornographic scenes [4] - of both verbal and physical aggression towards women.
In retrospect, the statement above is one of the many ways constant pornography usage can heavily affect the mental images generated by the user, as well as his social behavior, thus making it a danger for himself and the one involved with him in an interpersonal relationship. Another use of how pornography can mislead viewers is by encouraging (and thus, normalizing) certain sexual practices presented by erodoujin or AV provides [5]: for example, items with the "forced" tag implicitly encourage its presumably male audience into inflicting physical and/or emotional harm to their partner. If not stopped early on, the consumption of such media will predispose the consumer to having a higher-than-normal probability of break-ups or divorce later on in life [6]. On a neurocognitive level, long-term psychological dependence on pornography severely impedes one's ability to be interested in a real-life partner [1].
There are other various forms of dangers that lies within the constant viewing of pornography. But I have decided to limit myself to the most prominent ones I've seen so far. At the end of this post are several sources I've used to help me see the truths and effects of pornography; I placed them there for any interested parties who wish find out for themselves how harmful pornography can be.
With that being said, I'm thus declaring my final days of being part of FAKKU!. Having seen the scientific truths regarding pornography, I am now leaving the FAKKU! community in order to begin my pursuit of the real-life intimate relationship that I have mentioned long ago in a previous thread. From this day onward, no longer will I be a wizard in the real world. I have seen the truth and I am hoping that everyone else here will too eventually. #SayonaraFAKKU! #HentaiHarms #AVKillsLove #IChooseToKeepLoveReal #NoMoreToJacobGrady #MyRealLoveRevolutionBeginsNow

If you want to give up hentai/porn in general that's fine, but porn isn't detrimental to your health unless you as a person make it that way for yourself.
Porn can become an unhealthy habit like anything in life which is not limited to alcohol, sex, masturbation, nail biting, obsessive compulsive behaviors, cigarettes, food (over/under consumption or developing PICA), etc.
The theory that you become violent after watching/reading something is the same theory they try to apply to individuals who watch such things on normal cable television or by playing extreme video-games. The material can influence a person to a certain degree yes, but it does not warp the mind; what I mean is the material is not to blame for fucking up the person.
With sex at it's core is an aggressive act since your body is building in testosterone and endorphin which can be related to the energy you feel when you are working out. It's a natural biological event that is not only related to porn. From what you are talking about it sounds like you are relating this argument to the more extreme genre's of porn such as rape and chuckholding.
Sex has more variety then the previous traditional style where a man is on top and the woman is on the bottom, though honestly even though we say this is what the "norm" has always been, history has shown that sex has never been this simple. If you look at the worlds history you'll see where people have engaged in various forms of unorthodox sex, so basically were not really doing something new; if you've thought of it people have done it lol.
Going back to what I was saying on how porn is not to blame for creating how the person is, I am going to say this. If you base everything in your existence on things such as porn or videogames, then yes your reality will be misconstrued. You cannot live a healthy life by basing all of your sexual desires and thoughts just on porn, because porn is fantasy not reality. I know for someone such as myself I enjoy quite a variety of hentai out there, but what I do in my personal life is much more simplistic. Fantasy is fantasy and reality is just that. People who blur the two or cannot distinguish between that should stop reading or doing the unhealthy behaviors and seek help.
I don't know if this is for a school project of some kind but I am going to give you a warning for future research endeavors. Your works are not reliable sources. Most of them as over 5 years old which makes them out of date (researchers want information to be less then 5 years old, most of my research professors would have trashed these in two seconds). You are also using non-peer reviewed material meaning that no board or peers have reviewed this article. By doing this the work it given a ranking and credit to say that peers have looked over this material deeming it to be work weight in any further research projects others make take on. Most of these articles have done no research on their proposed hypothesis and 3 don't even have a hypothesis to begin with. Most of them are just reports like you would give in highschool, I would never personally use these as material for a report of any kind.
Most of your articles are from a feminist perspective, they clearly make the point of saying "men are aggressors" or in some of the articles "women are deviant" because of X. And no personal research was done, just crediting sources that back up what they are saying. The sources the articles themselves credit are also easily seen to not be reliable which makes this even argument less valid. Sorry to be so harsh, I was really grilled with evidence based practice since my field of work likes to put this on me... I personally hate it but I know I am not bad at it (-_-)
The first two articles you have shown don't fully relate to what you are talking about either and worst of all they are all heavily biased the only decent one you found was source three, but even it states in the conclusion the high level of bias the experiment had given they only did their study using participants they chose (a huge no no in the research field).
My thoughts on the matter
I did do some research studies on this in college since I did minor in psychology and I will say that from what I came across (and honestly what I think of just from seeing people in every day life). Social media can influence a person to a degree, but to what degree is purely individual. A person is made of more then just seeing a loony toons show where Elmer Fud tries to murder a rabbit with his shot gun, there is more to them just wanting to shoot things as a result. We are made of societal, biochemical, environmental, and interpersonal experiences; they shape us, not just one thing. To blame porn for creating a rapist is to say that the father that raped the son 12 years ago had just as much of a part in this or that friends bullied him or that he may have been born with some sort of biological issue that could have made him more unacceptable to social media.
In the end the person themselves is accountable for their actions and what they do with their lives. If a person wishes to hurt others they don't need help from porn to find this out or if they are a pedophile and act on their urges lolicon does not cause this to happen.
I believe that sitting a kid in front of a TV is very unhealthy, much as with reading/watching porn and saying you are a X type of pervert with Y fetish because you enjoy a certain genre (if you haven't done it you can't say you are that and will like it). I usually tell people that enjoy porn to take baby steps when they have their first time; just because you enjoy watching bondage doesn't mean you are going to be a freak with it, same with the rape fantasy. I can understand why people find rape fantasy to be enjoyable in fiction, but that doesn't mean that you want to be raped as a result. Fantasies can be controlled, but real life cannot since it is no longer about the selfish desires of the individual.

Relationships are bullshit, all it is is hormones. Friendships are the closest thing I'm gonna get to any sort of "relationship". Someone's significant other is their best friend they say, but in the end it's all about sex as far as I'm concerned, and sex leads to population growth, that's it. Just hormones and boners. Honestly, if my best friend was a girl I'd date the shit out of that. Unfortunately he is a guy and I'm not into him in that way.

This would make sense if you believed that somehow media is injected and fed into us by some form of metaphorical syringe. But that's not how media consumption works in the slightest, even with pornography. We pick and choose between the media we enjoy, and for those media literates there isn't even a question of reality blurring with the reality created in the media. I can't stress enough how important it is that you're able to evaluate what you see and read in the media, and this is a very good example where you've taken things as fact from spurious sources.
Personally I enjoy hentai that is pretty much the epitome of what you've talked about: violent and misogynist stuff with mind break. However, that's never reflected on me as a person. On the contrary I'm a very active pacifist and advocator for improved social justice.
All in all it doesn't feel like you've really thought about consumption of the media from any amount of angles as there are many different ways that people experience porn and other media. For example, some people play violent videogames to relieve stress and in the same way some people might watch violent porn to do something similar.
TL;DR: Don't be a misinformed cunt.

Can someone confirm if more months without porn = more chance of getting a longterm relationship? I'm not sure substituting porn with more video games will bring out the best in me, correct me if i'm wrong.

Um yeah? Or else we'd be on the old ages where people would be fucking raping everyone and not giving a fuck. Porn keeps them in check. Not "always" as you can tell by the news but it isn't doing all bad.
Btw I read nothing but the header sooooooooo yeah. Just answering the question.

Remember the unwritten rule of porn: fantasy =/= reality. If someone takes to porn and is actually influenced by it, chances are they were in a bad frame of mind to begin with. Taking comfort in fantasy because of a mental trauma, for example.
Also remember that everyone thinks differently and deals with things in their own way.
Anyway, if you're looking to lose your Wizard powers good luck to ye. I would like for you to return and tell us all about it in sordid detail.

Spoiler:
If I just stick my dick in her it's just sex. For one of us anyways. It depends on whether she has a nice navel.
