Ever noticed how 99.9% of his fights involve him using conventional items in uncoventional ways? Or he's tied to something.

I did notice that in his films. He's not really a martial arts master so I guess he does it to makes up for that fact.

He is a classic and almost a cultural icon. Since children we liked his movies (and cartoons if any remember), the elderly like his movies. His sucess is the obvious mix of unorthodox unrealistic martial arts with comedy.Suck his dick some more.

You had no childhood. D:
Exactly I have always been a man, never a child.

There's this one movie of his where he's involved in some yakuza gang thing.
It was pretty violent. You should watch it if you're tired of his comedy.
It's in Chinese though.

there's several movies where he does pure fist-fighting and kicking
one particular famous fight scene he fights a kickboxer named "Benny the Jet" at the end of the movie "Wheels on Meals"
pretty awesome. should check it out.

Personally, I prefer his Chinese movies compared to his Western ones. He plays a more serious role while still using his unorthodox fighting style. The Little Big Soldier is a favorite of mine and Revolution 1911 was one of the most serious roles I've seen him play as.
