Not sure about you but I hate when I am asked what race I am, since most of the time it it goes something like:
Hispanic or Latino
White (not hispanic)
Black (not hispanic)
Asian (not hispanic)
Native American (not hispanic)
Mixed races (not hispanic)
I am mixed I have a Native American grandmother, a white father, and a hispanic mother. If I chose mixed I am lying. I guess there is no such thing as mixed race hispanic though.
Should I choose Native American because I am a native to America?

Can't you "decline to answer".
I'd just put something like native though if I were you.

Depends. Choose Hispanic if you can speak Spanish.. they need people to speak Spanish. Native american if you have a tribe number. Been a while since i had to fill those things out.. use to be a other or bi-racial box.

I.. I'm not 100%, but I think they expect you to be living amongst a tribe/on a reservation if you choose that option or something. Because when you think about it, a lot of people have native in them. I'd go with Mixed [not hispanic] since you're only half.

Isn't there some law against an employer asking what race you are?Yes...In Canada.
It has to do with Affirmative Action.
