Kids these days....

You know what else I blame? Television....
Back in my days, we had some great cartoons and shows. Today, we have crap like "16 and pregnant" "Teen Mom" "Jersey Shore" and other crappy stuff I'm extremely lazy to look up.

Of course they are. I mean, anyone would say sorry after their act got caught up in the national news. The thing is, is the word 'sorry' really is sincere?

I think current television is...more of a reflection of society rather than the cause of it's..."decay".
Sure there's lots of shows like the ones you pointed out, but they're not really watched by children. Well they're statistically insignificant at the very least.

It would be rude to say no to all those people who donated for her to take a vacation.still not the point though, we are not sure if it is really a SINCERE and MEANINGFUL APOLOGY(maybe they're just saving face?),also no assurance of them not doing it again.
Some people will ALWAYS misinterpret. that is something that can never be taken back (just forgiven).
the perfect example of misinterpretation is this one one below

Go teach the kids that violence is always the answer. I'm sure they'll grow up to be well adjusted adults.
I for one can never take back to what I wrote. Whether I wrote it, honesty aside or jokingly. nor are you assured that I will or will not do that.
yes VIOLENCE is NEVER the answer, but spoiling and giving kids nothing to fear and they'll end up just like those children or worse (just imagine). If you have any suggestions as to what kind of "CONTROLLED (force) of disciplining". be my guest. I'm all ears.
Edit:I just added some points

I blame this hippity hop music, with those girls flopping there booty everywhere and those whipper snappers having their pants low without a shirt talking about sexual intercourse. You might be being sarcastic, but that reflects my sentiments exactly.
Didn't they say the same thing about rock & roll, rock, jazz...pretty much anything the majority of the older generation wasn't currently listening to?
Of course- it's simply been getting progressively worse as time wears on.
Although jazz did not feature bitches and hos.
Not saying that the people themselves were any better- but at least the music they listened to didn't instill egocentric, selfish, obnoxious behaviour as the gold standard.

If I catch one of my kids doing that I'll spank them SO HARD!they'll remember it and start to shudder at the thought of disrespecting someone.

That's how I've learned respect, anyways. Kids get away with too much, presently.

I don't think spoiled kids are really the issue. It might be in some cases, but that's just something you hear from adults who don't really know much about...kids.

In it's beginnings Jazz wasn't readily accepted by most people...due to extremely obvious reasons.(black people + speak easies + alcohol)
I do agree that some music out there is...bad. That doesn't mean it's the reason why kids are rebelling against authority and social norms.

Maybe some do get away with a lot, maybe some kids get too much "discipline", that was never my point though.
I'm not "NO VIOLENCE EVER" kinda person, but I don't using it as a disciplinary tool is...always right. I was brought up with light physical discipline(I was never much of troublemaker) but most of the respect I gave to my elders was not out of intimidation or fear of being hit, but because they taught me important things.

The worst part is... These kids dont see this person as a...well...person, They just see her as a youtube video, as they are all filming this they are saying in their heads "WE ARE GONNA BE YOUTUBE FAMOUS!", if i was their father i would walk my child by the ear, throw him at the door (from the ear), and shout "APOLOGIZE!!!NOW!", and then like 1/2 months grounded...what as the real parents done?

Kids these days don't know how it feels to be whipped. They really need to bring that shit back. Does wonders for discipline if done right.

I hate school runs at the best of times, mainly because there's nowhere to sit and the kids haven't learnt to control the volume of their voices yet.
I caught a school-run bus on Monday when I finally got back into Kent from the Isle of Wight festival. Bloody packed. Only reason I got a seat was because two buses arrived which took the same route. Literally, one after the other. I got on the emptier one.

My mom used an old wooden boomerang. I still don't know how to use those things
