Killed a cow

First time killing an animal and doing all the cutting and skinning shit.

After snuffing hajis in the desert killing a pig or fish doesn't really phase me. Never killed a cow though. Never needed to.

Oh. Did it taste good? I keep trying to like lamb but it always tastes odd to me...I would still order it on a menu though. XD

Shot my first turkey not too long ago. Had to take everything out of it in the field and then plucked it/cut off the head, wing tips, and feet when I got it home. I've been present for the field dressing of deer as well.

The thing that would really throw most people (aside from the smell of death) would be how hot the guts are. Nothing quite like gutting a deer on a freezing November morning and having 50 pounds of steaming organs come out of it.

Fish and seafood is the only extent for me. When I was a kid my great aunt and uncle had a farm where they raised animals to kill and eat, I remember one Thanksgiving I couldn't eat the turkey after I realized he was my friend lol. Never been one to kill the gain I am about to eat, go to a store for that stuff.

Those guys didn't waste one piece of the cow. The stomach/intestines are the ones that I am unable to eat. After we cut the cows guts out it was just a whole bunch of green stuff inside the guts.

My cousin likes to fish a lot and eat it so I've gutted and all that shit with fish but that's about it.

Yes, I hunt wild pigs a lot and other animals when its the correct season, here is a pic from a few weeks ago. They taste pretty good.

Sometimes, we have a trap we can use to catch them and have caught a dozen at a time once, they don't see very well and run in unpredictable patterns so it can be hard to hit them, as far as sneaking up on them it isn't too hard. The more they run the worse the meat tastes though. They are considered vermin and are a huge problem here so you can hunt as many as you want any way you want year round.
