The gameboy couldn't handle any frequencies that could harm anyone's ear drums. Also the fact that there are no, actual reports of children killing or harming themselves because of the games "missing frequencies".
Buried Alive: The story claims there was a .gif on the original versions of Pokemon for the gameboy- I'm gonna stop right there, the original gameboy cartridge can't read .gifs
Sorry, I get this way with creepypastas I dislike.
It doesn't mention .gif... surely?
And meh, is fine. Disproving ones is fine, go crazy
Also, that website hurts my eyes... shitty choice in colours

Well, I've just been on Creepypasta.com for 2 days, and I found 2 items that I found interesting.
http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/AbandonLONLINESS
http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/I_Won%27t_Leave_You
(Note that the two are slightly connected. Also, the second can leave you depressed if you get into the story.)

Ehh, I've read my share of Pokemon creepypastas.
None of them in particular really stand out to me.
I'd say the Ben story for Majora's Mask is better.

Wasn't there a thread about this exact pasta awhile ago?
Also, I'm not sure how this audio bugs people.

Also, I'm not sure how this audio bugs people. In the early Pokemon games, the games rarely talk about anything serious (e.g. Pokemon dying), but Lavender Town was centered around it.
It stood out because of it, and it made kids/teens who read what the people have to say in Lavender Town a little uneasy if they thought about it too hard.
Making campfire stories around a game that is usually happy pappy is one thing, but having the game have the city the story took place in adds a little more.
15 years later, those campfire stories grew into "creepypastas".
I.E. The only reason people find Lavender Town's theme unsettling is because of Lavender TOWN; a city based around death in a happy pappy kids game.

Isn't this the original Pokemon ghost theme that some how caused a lot of stress/depression and deaths in japan, so they changed it?

Yes, this is the song from the town in Pokemon that was the theme for the ghost/haunted city.
No, this never caused anyone anywhere any sort of headaches, depression, violent or suicidal thoughts/ideas.
The original Gameboy's speakers could NOT play the frequencies that have been shown to give headaches; not even the Gameboy Advance could play the frequencies.
Also no, they never changed the song.

Then it must of been some wild story that got blown out of apportion that I heard about.

Just gunna toss this out there, I actually always did, and still do, get headaches listening to Lavender Town music for more than a couple minutes... And this was before all that stuff about the Lavender Town Syndrome came out too... Though I never did have suicidal or violent thoughts.

Either: Coincidence; or you simply don't like the song (and possibly had it too loud).
Listen to something like this loudly and tell me you get a headache - the song I linked is the theme of Poop Town, where blood and dead and Republicans and ghasties!
use this to cleanse the musical pallet

Good Point (about that first link), but I still think it's the music, and I probably always will. It's just what I believe. On a side note,I prefer this to cleanse the music pallet.
